Explora

We took the kids on a quick overnight trip to Albuquerque over Christmas break. We stayed at a hotel that had a free dinner, breakfast, and indoor pool-perfect! The kids were super excited to stay at a hotel and go swimming.

Taking the kids swimming is always a little nerve-wrecking. Hallie is the only one that even knows how to float, and she can't do much more than that. Wes took turns swimming with the kids, while I stayed in the hot tub with various kids.

Jaxson liked going around the edge of the pool. He is smart and realizes he can't swim. Kamryn tried to swim on her own even though she knows she can't. :/

Kimber wasn't too sure of the cold water, but Addison loves getting rides from Wes.

Eating a free breakfast. Kimber can't eat a snack/meal without standing.

The main reason we went to Albuquerque this time was to take the kids to Explora (a science museum). I bought a livingsocial deal several months ago and it was getting ready to expire...

The kids all had a lot of fun. We probably would have stayed longer than just a couple of hours if we hadn't had the little girls with us. The older kids really liked figuring out how to make things work, and loved how hands on everything was. The little girls were a little harder to keep occupied, but they still had a fun time. We finished the day with brunch at the Flying Star and then headed back home.

My kids could spend the entire day going back and forth between the bubbles and the balls that float with the blowing air. So fun!
