January randoms

This picture just makes me laugh. This is how I roll at the grocery store. Kimber hates the store...whines and cries the entire time, unless I am feeding her a snack. She drops her blanket 20+ times each trip (on purpose), but BELIEVE me, you don't want to accidently forget it either. I feel like I go to the store so often, but really it's only once, maybe twice a week. That's what Walmart will do to you. You feel like you live there because it's your only choice.
In between the few snow storms we've had, this winter has been really mild....temps in the 50's and even 60"s sometimes! I love it, and make the kids play outside on every nice day. Kimber loves the trampoline lately...but of course she is always trying to get on and off every 5 seconds.
She loves the kennel, and especially opening the kennel and letting Gus out.
Wes always feels like he needs a toy for Christmas, so he took Jaxson to work one day over break and came home with this! The kids have had a blast with it.

We brought the swing down to work for Emily's baby, and our baby decided she needed to try it out! It worked like a charm (and then I quickly moved her to her play pen so she could take a nice, long nap).
This kid is a booger. She can climb up to her stool now and then onto the counter. Nothing is safe on the counter any more! We had a close call with a knife one time, thankfully she wasn't hurt.
Got my hair colored by my good friend Cami before she moved away.
We went up to the ranch again, this time with some friends, to roast hot dogs and got stuck in the snow. Wes pulled us out with a tractor. Thank heavens for that thing...it has saved us more than once.

Wes got a coyote call system thing for Christmas and Jaxson has gone out with him a couple of times. I really need to find him some camo of his own; he's had to wear Wes's.

Just some of the shoes/purses/coats at the open house...We hosted several events at our house. Book club, the annual Quail Fest (including 4 types of quail-fried, sweet and sour, lemon, and jalapeno popper pheasant), had friends over for dinner, and an open house for our good friends who are moving away. Lots of cleaning and organizing was going on anyway (part of my new years resolution to get back control of my house.)

Super blurry pic of some of the people, we ended up having 82 people at our house that night!
The kids celebrated the 100th day of school. Jaxson came home with old man picture that he had wrinkled up. I thought it was cute.

All the hunting is making Luke want to come live there more and more...he is very jealous of the picture of Jax with the coyote! And all the meat in the freezer!
