Joining the madness

I've finally decided to join the blogging craze. I've been holding out for awhile, because I really like keeping a journal, and I don't want my blog to take me away from that. I decided that this will be a great way to keep family and friends up-to-date, especially since we don't live near most of you! So, enjoy!
