I've been wanting to make a houndstooth quilt for forever. The houndstooth quilts I have seen were pretty masculine so I wanted to make sure I picked a more feminine color palette, without being overly pink.
It's kind of difficult to see the pattern in the light (the spring time pretty much means its always too windy to take pictures outside). I did free motion stippling to quilt it, and backed it with a fleece blanket so it will be super soft.
It's bound in a pink and white print that finishes off the quilt perfectly.
