Jaxson's Moab trip

The Deacons went to Moab in June, so they could go white water rafting. Jaxson had planned to go all along as well as Wes. And then we got into the thick of baseball season and found out the city championship games were the same week as the Moab trip. We weren't really worried about it because Jaxson's team hadn't done too well during the season. Well, of course, they ended up winning their first game and then next game would be at 8 pm on Friday night-the same day as the start of the trip. In the end Wes let Jaxson decide what to do. He chose to stay and play in the game, in the hopes that they would win and advance to the championship game. They lost the game and then headed to Moab at 10pm, not the smartest idea. They stopped overnight in Monticello (for a few hours anyway) and then met up with the rest of the group in the morning for the rafting trip. I was glad Wes went with them since Jaxson isn't the best swimmer. They all had a great time, even the water was freezing. After rafting they ate lunch and headed back home, a super quick trip.
