Tumbler boy quilt

I made this quilt several months ago and hung on to it so I could have one on hand. It went to my sister Meagan's baby boy born in January.  That makes 4 nephews born within a few months of Morgan!

So this is a tumbler quilt, which I have made before, but this time I turned the blocks on their sides and paired with another block of the same fabric:

I really liked the effect:

This was quilted in straight lines on either side of the seams, and backed in an orange chevron print from Joanns:
