Jaxson is 2!

Today is Jaxson's birthday. We've had family in town this weekend to celebrate his birthday and Kamryn's blessing. I will post some pictures later.

Here are some things you may or may not know about Jaxson:

• He loves to get his picture taken. He has the biggest, cheesiest smile, and says "cheeeeeeeese" until you are done. If he even sees a camera, he starts to say cheese.
• He says lots of words and a few phrases, but doesn't talk in sentences yet. He still gets frustrated when we can't figure out what he is saying.
• He always sucks his left thumb and puts his right thumb in his belly button.
• He is generally a happy kid. He loves to laugh and smile.
• If you are sitting on the ground he will come up to you and tackle you. He loves to wrestle.
• Jax is going through a biting phase.
• He likes dogs, cows, and horses.
• We think he is soooo cute! Most people say he looks like me, but people who have known Wes as a kid think Jaxson looks just like him.
• He does random funny things all the time. He keeps us entertained.
• Whenever he is stinky, he blames it on Kamryn (he says "baby stinky").
• He only calls Kamyrn, "baby". He never calls Hallie by name, even though he can say it.
• Hallie and Jaxson share a bunk bed in their room. He NEVER gets off his bed; he waits there until one fo us goes to get him.
• When he falls asleep, his lips push out and look twice as big as they really are.
• He will eat almost anything, but his favorite snacks right now are: string cheese, "bopples" (apples), fruit snacks, granola bars, and cookies.
• When he play hide and seek he pretends to count, but they just sound like grunts.
• He likes to dress up in Hallie's shoes. All. the. time. (He just came out of his room wearing Hallie's pink cowboy boots.)
• Jax is still daddy's little helper. He likes me better than he used to, but he sure loves to follow his daddy around.
• He knows most of his body parts. He will be glad to poke your eyes out, just to show you where they are. :)
• Jaxson has no idea that today is his birthday, or that he is 2.

We love our Jaxson boy. He is so much fun and keeps us laughing everyday. Love you buddy.
