So Tired

Sorry this pic is blurry, but it gives you an idea of what it really looked like.

I've been meaning to post about this for awhile, but I'm just now getting around to it. A couple of weeks ago Wes's Uncle Jack called and told him that one of the cows up at the ranch had a tire stuck around its neck. (Jack lives up at the ranch during the summer to escape the Valley's heat. He keeps a good eye on the ranch.)

Wes wound up going with his Uncle Rodney after work to see if they could get the tire off of the cow. They came prepared to rope the cow, so they could get it to stand still and take the tire off.

Well, the cow was so tired from carrying around that tire all day, that he didn't put up much of a fight. Wes said he ran a little ways down the fence and then just slowed down and let Wes wiggle the tire off. We're not sure how he really got it on there...Wes said it was pretty hard to wiggle off, because of the cow's horns.

Way to go, Babe!
