Trip to Mesa

Right after our camping trip to Big Lake I took the kids to Mesa while Wes went back home to work/animals/everything else. It was still a long way to Mesa, about the same distance as going from Gallup. The previous summer we had bought PogoPasses, and so we wanted to try to do as many of those activities before the passes expired. This resulted in driving all over the valley.

The first night we were there we hit up a Diamondbacks game. I think all of the girls were bored, but Jaxson liked it. We sat so high up Addison had a mini panic attack.

One day we went to this place called KTR and the kids had a blast. There were all kinds of things to do...trampolines, parkour, foam pits, etc.

Another day we hit up one of the school pools, the kids requested a different one than we had been to before. We got there right as a summer camp program did, which left me feeling anxious trying to watch 6 kids who can't swim in 3 different pools.

But Kamryn and Jax had the courage to try the diving pool, and ended up jumping off the high dive even...I was so impressed!

Only Kimber liked Zeus, the rest of the kids steered clear of the backyard. Plus, it is so dang hot!

One morning Hallie, Jax, and I woke up real early to go do baptisms in the Gilbert temple while my dad watched the younger kids. With the Mesa temple closed, it takes a bit longer to get in and out of the temple, but its always worth it!
Bowling at FatCats one morning...we bowled, did glow in the dark mini golfing, and then went and picked up lunch for Tracie since it was her birthday. We got to visit her at her studio, which was cool for the kids to see.

Every afternoon I drove Hallie, Jax, and Kamryn to ASU for an indoor soccer camp. The camp was held inside this inflatable dome, which was pretty cool. This was the real reason for our trip to Mesa. They spent 4 hours here everyday. They were in all different groups according to their ages.

Met up with Janae and her kids at Skateland. Pretty funny trying to get all our kids outfitted with blades and wrist guards (apparently those are now required), when ALL the skates and rollerblades they had were in one giant pile on the floor.

Bahama bucks with Janae after Skateland-someone didn't brush his teeth that day

too hot!

I wouldn't say my plate is still going strong...but it still exists!

It was not the best week to go...my mom and Isaac were working out of town, Meadow and Milo and Shawnie and her kids were all out of town. But that was the week of the soccer camp, so we came down anyway. We got to spend time with Diana and Sky and kids and my dad.

We fit a lot in during our few days in Mesa-soccer camp, temple, movie, FatCats, eating out, swimming x 2, playing with cousins, Diamondbacks game, singles ward with my parents, KTR...
