Beehive Camp

Wes and I were asked to participate in our Stake's Beehive Camp this Summer. Because our Stake did Trek earlier in the summer, and it was only for ages 14+, the Stake decided not to do a traditional Girls Camp. In place they held a Beehive Camp in Albuquerque. Early the next morning we headed to the temple to do baptisms. It was the first day the girls were able to help record the baptisms and confirmations which was really cool. After the temple we had a good breakfast back at the hotel, swam again, and then headed to a place called "Main Event" for several hours. It had bowling, a ropes course, laser tag, and arcade games. It was a super fun place. Wes and I had so much fun just being there and not really having responsibilities. It was fun to have one on one time with Hallie too.

We got to go swimming-twice. The priesthood holders there were awesome and played all kinds of games withe the girls. The swimming pool was super weird, and was half inside/half outside.

Friday evening after swimming, and catered Chick-Fila  dinner we had a fireside at the hotel with one of the counselors in the temple presidency.
