Another trip to Mesa

We took another quick trip to Mesa/Phoenix at the beginning of March to check out the motor home we were interested in buying. All of my family had planned on meeting for dinner to celebrate my dads' 65th birthday. My mom knew we were coming, but my dad didn't, so he was real surprised when he walked into the restaurant. It was fun to be there for that. The next morning we drove out to Anthem to look at the motor home on Philip's lot. We got to test drive it and make sure we were good with it before purchasing it.

After we finished up there we took Kamryn over to the Anthem outlets to get her ears pierced. We have made it a rule that our girls learn their articles of faith before they can pierce their ears. Mostly just so we know that they are serious about wanting their ears pierced. She was so excited! And out of all the earring they showed us that she could pick from-she picked a cross! Ha! Her birthstone was her second choice.

In between Holbrook and Heber we saw a bald eagle! Wes stopped and turned the car around so we could all see it. It's hard to see in these pictures, but its there.
