Morgan at 18 months

She is really picking up words now! She can finally say "Ma"!! She also says "da", "uh-oh", "uh-uh" (that's her saying no)and "cheese" (when you take a picture). Other words: 'mo'(more), ball, 'naw-naw' (knock, knock), she tries to say shoes and socks.  (first Easter egg hunt-she picked it up quick!)

  • Gus just got a hair cut and she thought it was hilarious. She was pointing at him and telling us all about it. The video Wes got of it was the cutest.
  • ETA, at 19 months, she weighs 20.5 pounds, and is 29.25 inches tall.
  • She used to love the goats until one bit her and now she is really afraid.
  • She gets scared when you throw her in the air.
  • She likes to climb ladders and can climb to the top of the bunk bed in Kamryn and Addi's room.
  • She weighs in right at 20 lbs, and is still in her rear facing car seat for now.  Now that the weather is warming up she loves to play in the yard. She is getting real picky about her food and will throw it over board or say "uh-uh" if she doesn't want it. Right now she is loving nutri-grain bars, fig newtons, and string cheese as her favorite snacks. If her banana has a brown spot she makes a noise to show her disgust.
  • She got two mini dolls in her Easter basket, and she LOVES them. She likes to take them everywhere with her, and loves to give them kisses.
  • Morgan loves to go anywhere Wes is going and gets sad when he has to leave her behind
(sunburn from planting trees, so sad)

She can just about run now, but when she gets to steps she has to turn around and crawl down them, even if its only a few inches. She does this all day long in our house since the living room/kitchen/laundry room are sunken, and the sunroom is down a step too.

(she loves her little babies sooo much)

She still struggles with eczema. One day it will look great and the next she has it all over her body. For the most part I can get away with using Aquaphor, but when it gets bad I have to use a steroid.

She can substitute a certain pair of my pajama pants as her blanket (they look and feel similar). So if I need to wash her blanket I give her my pants and she happily accepts it as her blanket. I never leave home without her blanket.
(this is why she needs to be buckled in at all times)

Morgan is at such a fun, fun age. I feel like she is learning news things everyday. She makes us laugh everyday, and is a constant reminder to me about how fast this stage goes. I am trying to soak it all up!
(How is it possible she is old enough for nursery?)
