Random July

We had some people up to the ranch one evening for a fun night and a dutch oven dinner. The girls had fun strumming the guitar and dancing/singing to songs.

Another night at the ranch, after some horse riding

Playing cards at the ranch (can you tell we spend a good portion of our summer up there?)

Look at that sky! More horse rides with friends

Hallie loves Peanut. She has grown so much since then! Hallie keeps track of all her interactions with Peanut  so she can try to learn how to break horses.

Long hot days at the ranch. The kids are play hard and are learning to work hard too. Sometimes Papa has chores for them to do-weed pulling, shop sweeping, sign hanging, etc.

I got a laugh out of this...one day at work this summer Kamryn and Jaxson kept fighting. I told them they each had to cover one whole page with  "I love you_____". Kamryn tediously wrote out a whole page of "I love you Jaxson". It took her at least an hour. Then Jaxson showed me his. Can't hardly blame him for his creativity!

We were supposed to go to Wild Thing, but it was during the family reunion, and we ended up not going. These were our boots all lined up and ready to go, except for Wes's, because he was wearing his.

We took the kids to an arenacross event. They loved seeing the dirtbike races. It convinced Jaxson that he needs a dirtbike. Some of the riders were tiny! They also had mud bogging, but we didn't stay for all of that because it was getting late.

Before the free movie that was playing on Addison's birthday.
