Addison turns 5!

These are all terrible pictures of my beautiful Addison girl, but they will have to do.

Addi turned 5 in July. We celebrated by going to the free kids movie, RIO2. We went out to dinner at Applebees per her choice, and had a giant chocolate chip cookie with ice cream to celebrate.

At age 5:

• Addison is my youngest kid to start kindergarten.
• She still needs a nap everyday, and is really tired every afternoon afterschool.
• She likes to sleep in more than my other kids. I have a hard time getting her up and going in the morning.
• She is determined she is going to marry her best friend, Zaiden. Like, there is no question in her mind.
• She weighs about 36 pounds and is 42 inches tall. Just for reference, she is slightly taller than Kamryn was when Kamryn turned 6.

• She is wearing 5T now.
• She loves blueberries, school, collecting chicken eggs.

• Addison is highly emotional lately. If I ask her to stop doing something, she cries, if I don't let her have a treat , she cries, if Jaxson doesn't want to listen to her, she cries. ETC, ETC, it's a lot, all the time.
• She likes to have long, pretty nails.
• She wants to be Wonder woman for Halloween.

• Addison has had several cases of strep throat this year, the latest being the second week of school. She has a referral to an ENT in October.
• Addi has bad reactions to mosquito bites. She swells terrible.
• She is enjoying learning how to read. She likes to practice writing her letters and reading the books her teacher sends home every night.

• Addison and Jaxson still share a room, and they mutually dislike it.
• She still sucks her knuckle, but says she doesn't do it at school. Hopefully that's the truth and a start.

• Addison has lots of friends in her kindergarten class that she already knew previous to starting school. It has been fun for her to make new friends too. We are thankful that she is surrounded by good kids!
