Wes and one of his buddies were asked by the game warden to come and try to catch a bear that has been causing problems (the same one Wes went after back in May). The bear had been eating sheep. It had been seen at night, so Wes, his friend, and cousin set out last Monday night. I didn't know when to expect Wes, so he told me to just be ready to open up the office in case he wasn't home in the morning.
Well, Wes came home at 4:30 in the morning...with a bear skin! They found the bear pretty easily, and Wes got to take the shot. He was so excited about it. (I'm just excited the blood came out of his clothes!). He's looking into getting it made into a bear skin rug....in the meantime it is in the freezer.
