| We partied at our house on New Years Eve with a couple of other families. New Years Eve fell on a Sunday, so we kept things low key. We had an amazing spread of appetizers and played games until midnight. The kids wanted to get in on the Sparkling Cider, so at midnight we poured them some in the sunroom. It was pretty anticlimatic. |

| New Years Day we went out to eat at Cracker Barrel for brunch. Morgan was being hilarious and drinking straight from the syrup bottle. The way she kept throwing her head back made it seem like she was drinking one of those cheap bottles of alcohol from the hotel fridge. |
