The start of a big project

We have been planning for months and really years about what we want our future master bathroom to function and look like. There are so many things about the current situation of it that bother me. Our first step was changing these double windows into a double door. We thought it would be better to do before we demo the bathroom, so that we can use the double door as the access to the outside instead of people coming through the entire house. So one day Wes had the guys come help him take the windows out to install the new French doors, only to find out that the door I ordered was framed for a 2" by 4" wall and not the  2" by 6" exterior walls that we have. So we covered the windows up with classy plywood and it has been that way for a couple of months until our custom order door arrived and we were ready to demo the bathroom and closet. The guy we hired to do the bathroom is starting in January and then things will get a lot more crazy before it gets better.

Kimber was home "sick" from school so she and Morgan sat outside to watch the guys

Someday this will be French doors that lead out to some kind of patio or walkway that leads to a hot tub
