Morgan at 8 months

Another month has flown by! Morgan was busy this month! (always with the tongue out)Morgan eats a lot of food! Besides nursing about 8 times  a day, she has a big bowl of rice cereal with baby food in it for dinner, and then she eats off my plate for each meal. If its a bread product, she really goes to town and will eat multiple rolls/breadsticks/waffles/etc. When we are out and about she goes through lots of cheerios and fruit puffs. The only thing that I've given her that she hasn't cared for was a banana. I don't know how she fits it all in, but lets just say the diaper changing situation is more stinky these days.

When I took her pictures for the month, she had a runny nose and needed a nap, so...

She gets a lot of comments wherever we go, mostly on her red hair and her tiny-ness. She still hasn't hit 12 lbs yet, but she did gain a few ounces so her doctor is happy with that.
Morgan can get anywhere she wants now by creeping, and is up on her hands and knees more often too.
She is such a good sleeper at night, and sleeps deeper than any of my other kids have at this age. I can have a conversation/sneeze/watch tv, etc in the same room as her and she doesn't wake up. It makes traveling way easier! She sleeps much lighter during the day though, and having all the kids home for the summer is proving a challenge during nap time.

Morgan got her first tooth, the bottom left. It took me by surprise since I've never had a baby get a tooth this young. Not too thrilled about the situation, but what can you do.

enjoying being the only grandkid around...doesn't happen often!

Morgan also got to go to Albuquerque with me and Wes to a work convention this week. She was so, so good during the meals and meetings. We shopped for a few hours Monday morning while Wes was in a meeting and she got to sit in a cart for the first time. She thought she was hot stuff, but kept sliding out of the seatbelt.

Morgan went camping for the first time a week ago. She enjoyed sitting in her jumper as long as she couldn't see me, and if someone was feeding her a snack, haha. Separation anxiety is starting to set in and she doesn't like to see me from a distance.
She is getting stronger. She doesn't pull herself to a stand, but she will stand for awhile if you put her there.
